Alexandra Grot on her flute and Peter Laul at the piano has done something amazing. Their play proves them to be accomplished musician personalities, those that raise over each technical difficulty and also possese individual artistic statements. (...) Grots flute sound proves to be uncommonly flexible and intensif. She plays long phrases with centered, warm sound, however without losing the view for the out-composed refinement (...) Above all Grot greatly succeeds in expressing the "telling a story" nature in Prokofjews work, the music speaks at any time in the conceivablly most literal sense. This has level and class and can be positioned very far in the front field in the international comparison. Grot shouldn't fear to be compared with Emanuel Pahud, Jacques Zoon or Benoît Fromanger... One may be excited, where the way of this highly talented flutist will yet lead.
